What is Botox?
Botox is a neuromodulator that temporarily relaxes targeted facial muscles responsible for expression-related wrinkles. By reducing muscle contraction, Botox softens dynamic lines such as forehead creases, frown lines, and crow’s feet.
Here is the reality. Many facial lines are caused by repetitive muscle pull over time. If muscle activity is not addressed, lines deepen even when the face is at rest.
Botox is used conservatively, with precise dosing and anatomical placement to soften lines while preserving natural movement. The objective is refinement, not a frozen or expressionless appearance.
Botox Target Area
1 - Glabella
Softens the vertical “11” lines between the brows caused by repeated frowning or muscle tension. Helps create a smoother, more relaxed appearance.

Recovery
Botox requires little to no downtime. Mild redness or small bumps may appear at injection sites and typically resolve quickly.
Patients should avoid lying flat for 90 minutes, strenuous exercise for 24 hours, and rubbing treated areas for several hours.
Results
Results begin to appear within a few days and fully develop within one to two weeks. The skin appears smoother while natural facial movement is preserved. Maintenance treatments are recommended to sustain results.
Gould Standard
Botox Services at our Clinic
At our clinic, we offer Botox, Dysport, and Daxxify for facial neuromodulation. All are derived from botulinum toxin type A and work by relaxing targeted facial muscles to soften expression lines.
- Botox provides precise, predictable results and typically takes effect within 10 to 14 days.
- Dysport spreads more easily and is often used for larger areas such as the forehead or when Botox response decreases.
- Daxxify is designed to last longer in select patients based on muscle activity and treatment goals.
Product selection is based on facial anatomy and desired outcome. Over time, your treatment doses and areas become well tuned, and most patients return about three times per year to maintain soft, natural-looking results.

Frequently asked questions
There is minimal to no downtime. Patients typically return to normal activity immediately, with occasional mild redness or swelling at injection sites that resolves quickly.
Cost varies based on the areas treated and the amount of product required. A personalized treatment plan is created during consultation, and exact pricing is reviewed based on your specific goals.
Botox typically lasts approximately 3 to 4 months. Duration varies based on the treatment area and individual metabolism. Consistent treatment can help maintain more stable results over time.
Most patients tolerate Botox with minimal discomfort. The sensation is brief, often described as a small pinch. Treatment is performed without the need for numbing in most cases.
Results develop gradually. Early changes are typically noticeable within 3 to 5 days, with full effect reached around 10 to 14 days as muscle activity softens.
When performed correctly, Botox does not eliminate expression. The goal is to reduce overactive muscle movement while preserving natural facial dynamics, creating a more rested and controlled appearance rather than a frozen result.
